How can we practice English ourselves?
How to write an English autobiography?
Dear Students,

"How can we practice English ourselves?" This is a question you often ask. We suggest you follow the steps below:

First of all, look up in a dictionary or a grammar book the words, phrases or sentence patterns in your textbook which you are not familiar with and try using them to make your own sentences. These words, phrases or sentences patterns belong to you only when you know how to use them.

In addition, read out the dialogs or readings you have learned from class, and make sure your pronunciation or intonation is the same as that on your textbook CDs. You certainly need to listen to your textbook CDs several times in order to imitate the pronunciation or intonation and read the material out like a native speaker.

Most importantly, you have to find yourselves opportunities to use English. Speak and write to your friends or even to yourselves in English as frequently as possible. By doing so, you will learn to think in English and master English more easily.

Sincerely,

Could you please tell me how to write an English autobiography for a college application?

It is advised that you include the following paragraphs in your English autobiography:

1. Personal Background
In this paragraph, describe your family briefly and tell how it influences your personality.

2. Academic Achievements and Honors If Any
In this paragraph, describe your education or any extracurricular activities that can enhance your qualifications for the college you want to attend. Of course, if you earn any honors or awards that reveal your talents and abilities should be specially mentioned.

3. Future Plan
In this paragraph, explain why you want to choose the major or the college you are applying for and what you plan to learn in college and even your career plan.
